After what feels like months and months of waiting we are finally on our way to the airport to board a plane to Canada (one way) 🙂
I first travelled to Canada in 2011. Ever since my first trip I have had a yearning desire to move back to Canada to work in the Ski fields. I absolutely love snow sports, so after spending the last 18 months on the Gold Coast you could imagine my thriving desire to get to Canada and in particular, my desire to get back on the mountain.
The past 18 months have been fun but I need to go snowboarding. Before leaving the Gold Coast I was employed as part of the social media team for Gold Coast Adventure Travel Group, a job that involved Stand Up Paddle Boarding, trips to Wet N Wild, Skydiving, kayaking and surf lessons, just to name a few of the adventures involved. Tough Work, I know right 😉 To learn more about my adventure with Gold Coast Adventure Travel group check out their blog, or check out my Australian blog posts. It was sad leaving such an awesome job but I can hear the mountains calling my name. Below are some photos from my time with Gold Coast Adventure Travel Group.
We will be arriving in Vancouver in 15 hours and spending the first week there before buying a car and road tripping out to Lake Louise where I will spend the season. Although I’m getting closer it’s getting harder as my patience is almost gone, I just want to be at the top of a snowy mountain strapping my boots into my board.
I will update you all on my week in Vancouver.
