Why Canada?

Out of all the places in the world, why do I have such a strong desire to travel and live in Canada?

Canada was always at the top of the list, from the age of 15 I knew I would live here…. And after looking at my photos I’m sure you will understand why I went back.

I want to travel the entire world, from Nepal, to South America, Central America, Africa, Europe, you name it, it’s on my bucket list.

Although I want to go everywhere, my second trip was straight back to the beautiful Canadian Rockies.

As an Australian from the Gold Coast, I am spoilt with beautiful tropical temperatures, some of the best beaches in the world and 300 sunny days a year. The one thing I don’t get to experience regularly is snow. Like they say, you always want what you can’t have, perhaps that’s why I love Canada’s snowy mountains so much.

I first travelled to the snow when I was 12 and have had a passion for winter sports ever since then. What better place to fulfill this passion than the Canadian Rockies.

Canada is full of Australians, and I am often asked why? Australia is a truly magnificent country with some of the most unique landscapes and wildlife in the world, however when it comes to snow and mountains, Australia just doesn’t cut it. (Sorry)

If you love the snow, you need to go to Canada.

We then came across a bunch of mountain sheep.

We also took a snow shoeing tour to Lake Agnes.
